Hidden in plain sight on The Burren limestones, is the stone skeleton of the original Neolithic tomb, all that remains of the original monument, which would most likely have been covered with soil. How did they manage to get that large stone to balance on top of three other stones? Such craftsmanship can only be admired. Poulnabrone Dolman is well worth stoping at when visiting The Burren and a walk over the rocks to view it in person.
