An amazing day spent in Kilkee has resulted in some fresh artwork, with the stunning ocean just begging to be immortalised on canvas. The lively sea was a breathtaking sight with some amazing colours bouncing between the waves, and the perfect muse for painting.
As you round the corner on your walk along the Cliff path, you are hit by this amazing view of Bishops Island. Located off the coast of Kilkee, Co. Clare, this rugged sea stack contains a 6th century monastic ruins, including a church and a beehive hut. Legend has it that a bishop fleeing the Irish famine became trapped on the rock and eventually starved to death.
